   1. Is there a fee to join the club?

No, our one off nomination fee has been abolished.  Only the membership rate is payable.

 

   2. When can I join?

We accept membership applications at any time during the year.
Our membership year runs from 1st October to 30th September. If you join after 1st January in any year you are entitled to pro-rata membership fees.

 

   3. How do I join?

Complete an application form (available for download from our website or to pick up from the office or clubhouse) and submit with payment to the office or clubhouse.
Applications are formally approved at the monthly Management Committee meeting.
Following this, new members will receive notification by mail of their application approval and their membership card.

 

   4.  Do I need a Proposer and Seconder ?

Yes but if you don’t know any current members we can arrange for this to be done for you.

 

   5.  How long will it take to approve my application?

Once your application and payment has been received we consider you to be a temporary member and you are able to
start playing.  The Management Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month and your notification of approval will follow shortly after.

 

   6. How can I pay my membership fees?

Fees for annual or 6 month membership can be paid by cash, cheque, eftpos or credit card in the clubhouse or over the phone.  Please contact the office if you wish to deposit directly to our bank account. Annual fees can also be paid by a monthly direct debit from your savings or cheque account or credit card.  More information is available regarding direct debits from the office.

 

   7. What happens to my handicap?

If you held a recent handicap at a previous club, that handicap will be transferred and your golfing history retained.

 

   8. How do I get a handicap?

Play 3 rounds of 18 holes with a member who holds a current handicap.  Place your correctly completed score cards in the handicap box located near the golf kiosk.

 

   9. How do I book a social game?

We recommend you check with the Pro Shop before coming for a game.

 

   10. How do I book into a competition?

There are several options:
(a) Login to the members’ area on our website and book yourself in. Timesheets are available online 14 days in advance from 7pm.

(b) Use the golf kiosk at the club. Timesheets are available at the kiosk 14 days in advance from 4pm.

(c) Phone the Pro Shop on 5496 1522

 

   11. How much is competition entry for members?

$12.50 plus a .50c optional Pro Pin

 

   12. Can I bring my own motorised cart?

Yes you are welcome to bring your own motorised cart to our course. There are no charges applicable. We ask that you comply with parking signs for your vehicle and trailer. The use of motorised carts on the course is dependent upon weather conditions.  Check the home page on our website for up-to-date cart conditions.

 

   13. How do I collect Competition & Ball Prizes?

Results and winners of competitions are posted on our website and lists of competition winners are held in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse. Members and visitors are responsible for checking results. All prizes excluding balls can be picked up from the Clubhouse.
Balls are allocated to your account and can be redeemed from the Pro Shop. All prizes must be picked up within 6 months.  All balls must be collected within 3 months.

 

   14. What is my username & password – member login?

Your username and password are supplied on your welcome letter. Please contact the office if you need a reminder.

 

   15. Can I take a Leave of Absence from my membership?

Application for a Leave of Absence from your membership is to be made to the Management Committee. If approved, an annual fee is payable that gives the member the right to return to a playing category in the future. Members cannot play golf while on a leave of absence.

 

   16. What is the Pro Shop opening hours?

Pro Shop is open from 6am to 5.30pm.

 

   17. What hours are the Clubhouse & Office open?

The office is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.
The clubhouse is open 6 days a week (excl Mondays) and opening times can be checked on the clubhouse page. (except Good Friday & Christmas Day).
