Junior Golf Pathways
Woodford Golf Club is a proud supporter of the Glasshouse Futures Tour and the SBG Junior Tour, both of which offer outstanding opportunities for junior golfers in our region. These tours provide a fantastic mix of competition and camaraderie, catering to all skill levels—from introductory 6-hole events to elite tournaments like the Sunshine Coast Junior Masters. We’re fortunate to have such strong pathways in place to support the development and enjoyment of junior golfers in our district.
Child Safeguarding
Child Safeguarding Officer: Dean Dagan
Child Safegarding Committee Lead: Audrey Buckingham
Woodford Golf Club is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children and young people who participate in golf, work at the Club or attend Club activities.
The Club follows Golf Australia’s child safeguarding requirements and is continuing to strengthen its procedures, training and Blue Card compliance for relevant staff, volunteers, coaches and officials.
Any member who has a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person at the Club should report it promptly and confidentially to the General Manager.
Child safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility, and we thank members for supporting a safe environment for our junior golfers.
